Due to several drop-outs we decided to open one last small call for MA Exchange students for spring semester 2017. This is the very last chance to get a scholarship and experience studying in the EU with KITE. We encourage you to take this opportunity and spend one semesters at one of the EU KITE partner universities. It is simple – pick a school, pick your courses and apply online!
It is also possibile to apply for mobility extension. If you were selected for an exchange mobility and have a reason for staying at your host institution longer, send an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org and make sure you attach: motivation letter, consent of your home institution and approval of your host institution. It is very important to be specific about the reason of the proposed extension. Do not forget to indicate how many months you would like to obtain. For this extension only the scholarship will be provided – travel and visa expenses will be paid by the applicant!
The deadline for 4th call and extensions is 10th September.
KITE is a mobility scheme for academic cooperation between higher education institutions from the African, Caribbean and Pacific regions (ACP). KITE provides scholarships for students (or prospective students) and staff (both academic and administrative) from the ACP region to carry out their study or research in selected high-quality partner institutions in the EU.
Aiming to support the establishment of cooperation partnerships between European higher education institutions and higher education institutions in the ACP, the project is also open to staff from the EU to realize their mobility to ACP partner institutions. Funded by the European Commission, KITE covers travel expenses, insurance, fees and a monthly allowance for selected grant holders. Virtually anyone involved (or previously involved) in higher education will be given the opportunity to participate!
It’s very easy! First, download our guidelines, find out whether you are eligible (e.g., whether you belong to one of the target groups) and whether your desired field of study is offered in any of the host institutions. Then - fill out our application!
